Friends of Sherborne Abbey – a Presentation entitled ‘The History, Heritage and Archaeology of Sherborne Abbey Project 2023-2026′ on Monday 4 March 2024 at 7.00 pm in the Abbey.

Francis Brown (PhD student) will introduce the project, entitled ‘The History, Heritage and Archaeology of Sherborne Abbey, Dorset,’ run by the University of Exeter and funded by the Friends of Sherborne Abbey. He will discuss the outline and aims of the studentship which comprises a PhD project and the compilation of a Conservation Management Plan for Sherborne Abbey, as well as giving a brief insight into his research. There will be time for questions at the end.

We also invite you to join us for drinks and nibbles (crisps & nuts) in the Lady Chapel afterwards where we will be happy to discuss items further.
