Opening and Service Times
Sherborne Abbey is open to visitors Monday to Saturday 8.00 am until 5.00 pm and Sundays between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm, unless services are taking place. We warmly welcome all who come to experience the beauty and peace of this historic place.
Please note that opening times may vary due to services, events or special occasions. We recommend checking ahead if you are planning a specific visit.
8.00 am – Book of Common Prayer Communion
9.30 am – Parish Eucharist (Sung)
6.00 pm – Choral Evensong
8.30 am – Morning Prayer (Monday to Saturday)

Free Guided tours of the Abbey
Free Guided Tours of The Abbey take place on a regular basis between April and November and pre-arranged tours for larger groups can also be booked.
