Blackmore Vale Scribes are a small and informal group of hobby calligraphers who meet once a month to practice, learn together and to exchange ideas.  Three or four times a year we have workshops taken by practicing professional calligraphers. Our skill levels range from near beginners to very experienced.  New members of all abilities are always welcomed.  This exhibition shows some of the fruits of our labours over the past two years.  A sea theme runs through many but by no means all.  (Peter James)
