Sherborne Chamber Choir: The Glories of Venice – Tonight at Sherborne Abbey

This evening, Sherborne Abbey welcomes Sherborne Chamber Choir, joined by The English Cornett & Sackbut Ensemble, for a spectacular concert titled The Glories of Venice.

Taking place tonight at 7.00pm, the programme celebrates the rich musical tradition of Renaissance Venice, featuring works by composers such as Monteverdi and Gabrieli, performed with period instruments and the beautiful voices of the choir.

The music of this extraordinary period was written to fill great spaces with sound, making the Abbey the perfect setting for what promises to be a vibrant and atmospheric performance.

Tickets are £8–£22, with students and under 18s admitted free.
