This unique instrument is long established on the folk scene thanks to the likes of Kathryn Tickell but increasingly has captured the imaginations of classical composers. Join composer and conductor Elliott Park, the Calathea Quartet and guest soloists including piper Chris Evans in taking a wilder look at the pastoral tradition of Britain and Ireland through an intriguing programme of contemporary work.
