This is a delightfully quiet, reflective time just before Christmas for those who find the busyness of this season a struggle. Anyone can come. You may be thinking especially of a loved one at this time or it may simply be that you feel that a little oasis before the big event may benefit you and put the time of Christmas into its right perspective. Perhaps this service will be even more poignant this year because of the constraints of Covid-19 which have not allowed us to mourn our loved ones in the same way we have done in the past. Whatever your situation, this service allows us all to draw near to God to steady, refresh and still our hearts for the coming of Christ.
