A programme of virtuosic Baroque music, including JS Bach’s wonderful Cantata BWV51 for solo soprano and trumpet. It is rarely performed, so this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to hear it live, and by two world class soloists. The concert also includes Handel’s Dixit Dominus, full of vocal acrobatics, colour and energy.
