LEARNING FOR DISCIPLESHIP In September 2007 the Diocese of Salisbury launched a new, ambitious and exciting adult education programme. Lecturers at the two nearest centres (Kingston Maurward and Sherborne) include Canon Eric Woods and Mr Mark Greenstock. LEARNING FOR DISCIPLESHIP LEARNING JOURNEY The course linking Christian faith and theology with everyday life · Discovering God in everyday life · Putting one's Christian faith into action · Learning from the experience of life's journey · Recognising God at work in the world around Learning Journey does not provide answers, but is designed to equip you to work things out for yourself. A group of people work together with a Tutor over ten weekly sessions, helping each other to gain the understanding and the skills needed. Whether it is · Discerning Christ's call in your personal life · Working out the way forward for your church · Tackling issues in the local community · Understanding global issues like climate change Learning Journey offers methods and resources for recognising God's action and working out how to share in the work of His Kingdom. If you are the kind of person who knows that the deepest questions in life do not have a neat answer, but that there is always more of God's truth to be discovered, you will probably find that Learning Journey is for you.
